Aye! Tunes! iCompiled for you

‘Don’t Look Back’ sang Bob Dylan. And indeed Teenage Fanclub. But sometimes you’ve got to look back before you can move forwards again. 2009 starts with a bang! Plain Or Pan? is almost 2 years old and to celebrate I’ve compiled a selection of the most-loved and downloaded tracks from the blog. This is your very last chance to grab some of those nuggets of pop goodness that you may have missed first time around.

  1. love your blog, but the link to cd1 is corrupted somehow.

thanks for the good work though! one of the most helpful blogs around

  2. Hey folks – thanks for the comments. I’ve had a look at the links and they do seem to be working fine. I’d suggest trying them again later,as heavy traffic on the file server can sometimes screw things up a bit. Patience, my friends!

    Ta.

  3. Happy New Year amigo…..great way for you to kick off 2009.

I’m sure it was the nude photo of Sandie Shaw that got the attention with that posting!

  4. Thanks so much for the Fannies cover of “About A Girl”, Sir! Been looking so long, feared I’d imagined it all along. 🙂

  5. Hi mate…brilliant content. I can’t seem to open the downloaded .rar files on my Mac for these cd compilations. They don’t seem to download as mp3s like most of the other files. Any suggestions? Keep up the superb work.

  6. Awesome mix(es)! FYI: It’s Lee Hazlewood (not Hazelwood) — common mistake tho. Thanks again!
